All-New Mitsubishi Triton
One of Australia's most popular utes on the market has recieved a significant facelift with the all-new Mitsubishi Triton getting upgrades from the ground up. A new Bi-Turbo diesel engine, improved 3.5 tonne towing capacity, innovative safety technology and more advanced 4WD capabilities all combine to create the ultimate workhorse that gets any job done with ease.

How much does it cost?
The all-new Mitsubishi Triton now only comes in 4 variants - GLX, GLX+, GLS and GSR, with a new 2.4L Bi-Turbo diesel engine the only powertrain offered for the range. The GLX is offered in either 2WD or 4WD, whereas the GLX+, GLS and GSR only come in 4WD.
As of now, only dual-cab Tritons with automatic transmissions are offered with Cab Chassis, Club Cab and manual transmission are set to be released in the near future.
Mitsubishi offers a total of 8 colours for the Triton range with specific colours only avaliable depending on the model. Colours include White, Blade Silver, Graphite Grey, Red, Impulse Blue, Black Mica, White Diamond and Yumbaki Orange (GSR only).
- GLX: White, Blade Silver & Graphite Grey
- GLX+: White, Red, Impulse Blue, Blade Silver, Graphite Grey & Black Mica
- GLS: White, White Diamond, Red, Impulse Blue, Blade Silver, Graphite Grey & Black Mica
- GSR: White Diamond, Yamabuki Orange, Graphite Grey & Black Mica

What do you get on the outside of the Triton?
Up the front of the Triton GLS & GSR you get LED daytime running lights, LED headlights & LED front fog-lights, whereas the GLX & GLX+ models get halogen daytime running lights & headlights with LED fog-lights on the GLX+.
The Triton GSR gets a body coloured front grille with black accents whilst the GLS acquires a black front grille with chrome accents.
Around the side, you get black wheel arch cladding along with black 18" all-terrain alloy wheels. The GSR gets black roof rails, black door handles, a wider side step and a black sailplane giving the Triton a tougher look on the road.
At the rear of the Triton GSR, you get partial LED tailights, black rear bumper and a large bumper with GSR badging and a reversing camera. The cargo tub can fit anything you'll need with tie-down hooks and a power outlet as well as a payload of 1095kg not towing & an impressive 665kg payload while towing 3.5 tonne. In terms of dimensions, the tray is 1555mm long, 1545mm wide with a width of 1135mm between the wheel arches.
What do you get on the inside of the Triton?
Moving inside the all-new Triton, the interior has recieved a significant redesign compared to the run-out Triton with more technology and premium materials around the cabin.
The Triton now gets a new 7" multi-information display ahead of the driver with a 9" multimedia touch screen with Android Auto & Wireless Apple CarPlay along with satellite navigation, DAB radio and AM/FM radio.
For the driver, you get keyless entry with a smart key & one touch start system (GLS & GSR only), wireless phone charger, leather seats and 2 USB ports up the front.
In the second row of the Triton, there is plenty of room for tools & equipment as well as enough space for school pickup with 2 ISOFIX anchorage points & 2 top tether points - keeping your passengers safe on the road. Passengers in the 2nd row get 2 cup holders, 2 bottle holders, air vents, seat pockets and plenty more.

The Mitsubishi Triton range is powered by a 2.4L Bi-Turbo diesel engine featuring 'twin stage' turbo charging for a power output of 150kW and 470Nm torque with an improved 3.5 tonne braked towing capacity.
Mitsubishi claims a combined fuel consumption of 7.5L/100km (2WD) & 7.7L/100km (4WD) with a fuel tank capacity of 75L.
